I have been playing for a couple of years and last year my handicapp dropped down from 28 to 24. I am now keen to get the handicapp further down. The clubs i use are an old set of lynxs. My question is do you think game improvement irons really do help ? Seen a set of Mizunno MX 100 for sale. these seem to get good reviews.

Bst thing to do is go somewhere and have a hit with a few different clubs. Take your current one with you do you can compare them. You might find they are better or maybe not. Maybe try American golf. They stock a few different brands.

My opinion is No.

However golf is 10% mental and 90% mental so if you think they will then they will.

Mizuno MX100 are great.

We all want clubs that will hit long and straight with a sweet spot as big as the club head. Which club does that for you is the one that you believe in. If you are happy with the stick in your hand your half way there. We've all seen guys with clubs that look like they came off a skip hitting great balls, that's because they believe in those clubs. If you're not happy with your clubs, they won't work for you. The problem is identifying whether the problem is you or the clubs!
