Pretty sure there will be a thread on here on it but can't find one, the search fun strong isn't helping . Can anybody link me to a thread.
Thinking about getting one for xmas, what's people's thoughts on them?

Thanks mate, lots of pages there!!
Couple quick questions.
How does it measure how close you are to the flag from say 90 yards?
Are people, still using it after a year of buying it or is it just another golf item that's been binned after the novelty wears off?
Can it upload directly to iPad now?
For £170 is it a yes or no? Or should I spend the cash stocking up on golf balls and buy a new pair of shoes?
Has anyone seen a real difference in their handicap that can be directly attributed to using this equipment.

Got one off here.. best thing I bought in the summer. Use every round and helps me focus. Worth every penny

Logged nearly 300 rounds on mine in 2 years, all measurements are to the centre of the green, you can then edit the pin position during upload.
2 versions available, Game Golf Classic and Game Golf Live, best to google both to get variations.
After about 20 rounds I realised I was focusing my practise in the wrong areas, my pro knows I use it and will often look at different stats when discussing future lessons.
Is it the only reason my handicap has improved, definitely not, but it has had a significant impact imo.
Both versions are legal for competition and the live version can be used for instant results in bounce games, live upolads instantly when used with phone, otherwise it has to be uploaded via USB, Classic version can be bought for about £100.00

So the pin position will be entered manually which could leave the stats a bit of a guess? Which could skew the stats on shots into the green?

Depends how accurate people need to be at their level, for me I'm happy with accuracy to a yard or 2, I move the pin to the rough location.
Another way to do it is to carry a spare tag and record the exact pin position, then in editing put the flag over the tag position and then delete the tag which leaves the pin in the correct position.
