Game Golf / PIQ / Arccoss

Help....If you can...

Im interested in the above three....but need some help. I want to look at stats to improve my game suchs as the FIR/GIR and the like.

I really like the look of Arccos, however they dont have my course...yet...

PIQ the interface on the phone doesnt look as user friendly as the other too...

Game golf seems to be the market leader...however it appears its all done by PC/Mac?

Not sure if swing analysis will be to much though and could do me more harm than good by over analyzing it.

Can anyone guide me in the direction....

So I just emailed Arccos asking when my course will be added.....and there was a glitch and now its there! May give this a go...

Not sure what you mean that Game Golf is all done by PC/Mac, it's available on android and ios phones as well and the New Game Golf Live allows you to edit on a phone as well as being used as a gps via the app.

You can also create a Game Golf account for free without needing the device and have a look at what it does.

That's my point...it's rare i need my laptop now as I use tablet and phone....

So can anyone confirm if this is the case with gamegolf as I am struggling to find a UK distributor for Arccos.

I can definitely confirm this for the GameGolf Live device. The classic version has to be synced via computer.

Well I just got the Arcoss for £180 as brought from the states. That includes all the tax and shipping! Only uk retailer was Amazon and they wanted £250. Good deal IMO.

I'll let you all know how I get on.

I've got the Arccos and it's awesome. The interface on the phone is a lot better than Game Golf (which my friend has) and you also don't need to "tag" your club on every shot, it automatically registers them. My name is Carl Wood if you want to search for me in the App.

Also... the customer support is amazing. I had an issue with some batteries running out after only a few rounds and a sensor break, they sent me 12 new batteries and a new sensor free of charge from the US, within a week.

It's brilliant! There Customer services is the best I've ever dealt with. I had an issue with a sensor found to be a battery so they've sent me a full pack of batteries.

Yup! Thought so...that other tech they mentioned looks good... However the app put me off. Screen resoloution was for old iPhones. Personally you can't beat arcoss. I've also brought another cheap iPhone purely for this system so it doesn't mess with my personal phone as it kept vibrating with messages whilst playing.

That ClubHub looks like it could be amazing. Being able to see swing information as well as GPS tracking would be brilliant. Will keep an eye out in a year or so and see how it's progressed. For now, I'm loving the Arccos.

Another to consider is the Skycaddie Linx GT which I think comes out in April. It's similar in that you tag your shots etc but on the watch instead of a belt mounted machine.

Where did you get this from? I am also looking at getting the Arcoss - just seems the best system and npo annoying tagging of club - but am not paying Amazon price. Best I could find in the USA was $250. Appreciated! Nick

I brought from an american shop www.playbetter.com (its actually the link amazon shows, but is cheaper direct through them) I ordered mine on a Friday and it came on the Monday! Three days from the states!
