while playing a couple of weeks ago, i noticed my arms were a little damp after playing and the zip on my troos had let in, looking like i'd pee'd myself.

Club sent them back, last week and heard back today.

Full replacement.

it was an apex, which was a couple of years old so get a new Arrow in its place.

should be in the club shop for collection on Saturday.

After the things I have heard in the last couple of years I am losing faith in GG in terms of their quality.
Their products are now made in China and still cost a lot of money.

I know a few people at my club who have had leaks on virtually new items. My two GG waterproof tops are 5 and 10 years old and still do not let in water. I will be looking at other brands in future.

Glad you got sorted. I didnt and now wash them them in nikwax which aint chep at £11 a bottle

Persil non bio liquid gel was all they recommend to myself for the odd wash. Never treated any of my jackets or trews and never had any problems.

I use the same with all my golf gear, my GG stuff has really been put to the test of late and has never let me down.

Certainly not gonna argue with you re that, but that is what is wrong with GG. They never told me that. Otherwise I would be using that now. What I was told was not to use softner.
That was after they sent me a bottle of stuff to wash it in ( to reseal it) then to dry it in the oven. The second time I sent it back, they reseated it.

Great news, now you won't have any rain for weeks, if not months!

Great service! Mine starting 'leaking' at Royal Cinque Ports last month. Back nine played with a very wet pair of trousers. Never thought of sending them back. Did you have to produce a receipt with date of purchase?

nope, sent back from the pro shop at my club, i expect you would need to get who you brought them from to do the same.

Good that they took it back via the pro without proof of purchase. I know when I've had issue with some gear in the past some manufacturers get funny if you don't have a receipt. All good for the OP though and hopefully they won't be needed too soon

all the stuff sold by our pro shop is logo'd so no doubt where it came from
