Galvin Green thermal leggings

Looking at getting a pair for the winter months, what does the sizing come up like? I'm a 34" waist but as they're compression do I need bigger or smaller?

34" waist means exactly that - unlike their S/M/L/XL rating which I have always found to be a touch smaller than required, so go up 1 size.

FWIW
While their outerwear is 'expensive but good value over time' (my GG suit has cost around £15/year and is still performing well), I don't think their base layer provides the same value - at least not compared to other product/companies!

Agree with Foxholer....the legging are exact and are elasticated so should not be a problem....I had a pair of the full on lined trousers when I was in Scotland and to be honest felt they were a little too warm so have just (last week) bought a pair of the Paclite trousers...cant tell you how they perform as have not used them yet.

I always go one size up on the jackets as I find the sizes are very 'snug'.

The leggings are pretty cheap at £22 so thought I'd treat myself. The sizes are S/M/L etc

Significantly better price than I have seen them, so my comment about value doesn't apply - in this case!

Having struggled to get into (upper body) base layers for 'my' size, I now go up 1 size. Haven't tried leggings (GG pants are very warm anyway and I have a pair of thermals for 'emergency use'), but would expect similar snugness, so I'd go 1 size up - or at least check with the retailer as to fit.
