The product came nicely packaged, so from the onset you know that care has gone into the making of this apparel. On unpacking the top not only felt very lightweight but also the material is much thinner that older windstopper fabrics. All the seams are smooth on the inside so no snagging or irritating stitching rubbing when wearing or during swings. The colour scheme of the jacket enables the wearer to co-ordinate it with many other outfits to get maximum use which is something you will want to do when you have worn one.
Technically the top does what it should very well, better than any leading competitor even in other sports apparel. I tried the jacket in warm temperature the wind was getting to around 25mph so gave the top a real test of how much protection from the wind it gave… Well aside of a slight draught up the sleeves the wind never got in part in thanks due to the drawcord hem and close fitting collar. The protection was so good, that I had to lower the zip to allow some air in as it was such a warm day. When the wind died down a little the cloud cover came over, this was no problem as the slight drop in temperature was well regulated by the varying properties of the fabric. Near the end of my round, the weather turned, the rain began to fall and the wind picked up again, this was no problem, the top proved a winner no matter what was thrown at it. I kept it on for the full round and through varying weather conditions it proved comfortable and an item of apparel I would definitely recommend.
