Im playing Galgorm Castle tomorrow, looks a great ncourse.
Was wondering has anyone played it and how they found it ?

sean,.

Very nice course but not as special as some would make it out. Got a good deal last year of 96 quid for a fourball plus balls for the range.

Why kellfire, who said it was better than experienced? it is a good course, one of the best in the area, not quite up there with Belvoir park etc but a good test all the same.

How did you find it Sean?
I was on nights last night so couldnt respond.
It is a great place to be a member, a tough test and very enjoyable.
It is in very good nik for this time of year too imo.

Just back mate..........am wrecked, but opened my eyes up as I have only played Greencastle in Inishowen.

found it very long.but returned 38 points playing of 18 so very happy.

found everybody there very friendly and willing to help.

will definetly return..

Sean.

Never played the course but played against them last year in an inter club comp, if the course is anything like the lads we were playing against it should be a smashing place.

Bit of topic but:

Big changes going down at newtonstewart this season.

New white tee boxes at 12, 16 and 17.

New green and bunkers on the 8th.

New bunkers on the 10th and a tree. More bunkers added right down the 16th.

Going to be alot harder this year at the weekend.

Also a 10 grand putting green and bunkers being added to the practice ground.

Galgorm is definately a very nice course and looking forward to getting back up for a game soon.

Sean and Hendy, get your names down for the Ballyliffin weekend, it should be a cracking weekends golf and craic :D
