Gah Beaten into 2nd place today.

Winterleague for us is only a 9 hole affair on a Saturday and a seperate 18 hole competition on a Sunday, Our course is a par 71 with 37 front and 34 back 9.
Front 9 was in play today and I played fairly steady round to shoot 36, -1 for the course and 24 points, some 20 handicapper waltzed round +2 and shot 25 points...grrrr.

71 level par on Sunday, 36 -1 today, hopefully tomorrow will be as good weatherwise (frost forecast)as the course is drying up due to no rain this week. usually at this time of the year Im depressed with hitting too many fat shots with massive divots,, is anyone else really enjoying their golf at this time of the year?

Don't you just hate it when that happens.
I am loving my winter form this year played today and had a poor front 9 shot 44, 7 over.
I really focused on the back 9 where before I would have given up and had 7 straight 4's, and a three but finished with a double bogey 6 at the last so was +10 for my round.

Just hope I can keep it going all year.
