G30 shafts

Hi folks, would a g30 3 wood shaft fit a g30 driver ? Thanks

I don't have a clue, but I did change my ?stock driver shaft for another tour shaft and thought it would be the mutts nuts but I just could not get on with it. The tour shaft is about 1/2" shorter.

I currently have the tour shaft, I just fancy a wee go with a 3 wood shaft in it to see if makes a difference. Cheers

Don't see why not, it's the same adaptor from memory.

only G30 and newer will fit. G25/i25 stuff doesn't fit.

I've tried, successfully, a i25 3 wood shaft in a G25 driver. It did feel stiffer but I like that feeling in a driver.

Ive was looking for months to find a tour stiff 3 wood shaft to do exactly the same. Not a cheap order from Ping either.

Lol thanks lump might have to buy a 3 wood and if it don't work I can sell it on.

if you're friendly with your shop pro, see if you can borrow one to try. Its what I did in the end. Made little difference, the stock tour in the driver is bloody good.

I paid £55 from Ping, via my Pro, for my Tour 80 reg shaft for my G30, which included re-adjusting the Swing Weight for the shaft and Golf Pride New Decade Multi Compound MCC Plus 4 Grip, to be honest I did not think that was too bad?
