G25 driver

Got one recently as part of my fitting. Went G25 through the bag. Very forgiving and powerful and I find I am getting more distance with less effort and the bad ones aren't punished as much. I can't recommend it enough

I was using the same 9.5 degree D2 with stiff Kali Shaft. My G25 is 9.5 degree with the Tour Stiff Shaft.

The G25 flies slightly higher BUT I generally produce a very high flight anyway so that could be specific to me. I have hit a couple that have stayed really low though which I never did with the Titleist. I tended to hit the Titleist straight/slight draw but have found myself going straight/slight fade with the G25-that might just be me adjusting to the slightly different feel/weight though. Distance on average is comparable but a real good clean connection with the G25 goes a bit further.

I have a G25 in 9.5* stiff, set to closed to 10*. Launch and spin much improved over my 10.5* K15 but significantly less forgiving.

Find a PING fitting centre with a range and launch monitor and get properly fitted. Big difference between 10.5 open and 9.5 closed for me, crucial to get the right setup.

Think you'll struggle to find a bad Ping driver tbh mate.
Go & give a few drivers a go & see which suits you.

Great info Cheers, looking at the 10.5 as with the driver i have a natural low ball flight.

I have the G25 irons tried the Driver and 5 wood but didn't get on, the Cobra Amp Cell were longer and more forgiving and more adjustment. Yet to improve on the Cobra so far

I was fit for the G25 hybrid recently and I hit the driver with a tour stiff shaft in and its a beast. I wasn't swinging to well on the day with my other clubs but the driver didn't go anywhere but to target. Make sure you get fit though as there are some good shaft options with Reg, stiff, tour stiff and tour X stiff. Tour stiff suited me and it feels great in the hybrid and the driver was unreal.

I nearly said sod the hybrid ill have the driver but its definatly my next purchase.

I had a few hits with a mate's one - with anever so slightly too stiff shaft.

Useless for me. I can't shape it at all. It only goes straight! I as, hoever, flying the Adams/TP7 as far as the G25 went with roll.

I don't really think there's been much improvement, except in adjustability, since G15 (or maybe even G10)

Have been trying one out over the last few days against my 910 d2 with a Rip shaft in stiff, it performs well i tried the 9.5 stiff and it goes straight and long,it gives a great flight into the wind , even on of center hits its good and forgiving ,i found the stiff shaft a bit soft for me and i'm not the fastest swing speed last time i was averaging 97mph i tried the i20 with the px 6.0 shaft and the G25 was longer, straighter and easier to hit, heard they've an i25 coming out soon.

Ive got a pile of AG vouchers that need spent so this and the 3 wood are looking like a very good purchase also the irons are so easy to hit its scary and not overly chunky.

Give one a go you'll love it.

I recently sold my Titleist D2 910 and replaced it with a G15 9* stiff from fleabay at£56 and LOVE IT!
