That's lob wedge distance for blokes on this forum 😂
I once managed 300yds in the height of summer, downhill, ball kicked on. Total nonsense for me, usual is 180-220 depending on weather / time of year. The hole didn't half look different after that tee shot mind.
since I started recording my drives 245 yards is my best
before that 290 once to back of a par 4... however I will admit it is an elevated tee and also we didnt know where my ball had gone we just thought it had gone way left but found it at the back of the green ..
the 245 we saw all the way and was a lovely strike .. duffed the second shot mind
Furtherist I have bladdered one is 300 yd plus in Mexico. It was a thing of beauty with a touch of draw. Ironically I have hit a few with draw this week. Anyway it flew over the hill and went through four yanks who had held me up for five holes. Never come anywhere near it since.
Around 380 yards.
Played the Burnside course at Carnoustie in the most incredible winds. Hit a drive right down the middle and was furious when we couldn't find it walking down the fairway. It was then seen sitting at the back of the green. Nice 3 putt par
Turning back into the wind I then failed to drive past a bunker that measured around 150 from the tee.
The mandatory jokes seem to have been covered quite quickly, congrats you win a prize as the 1 millionth tellers
I have a pretty good idea, but prefer to share my 8 iron onto a par 4 of 355 yards as my self appointed world record..10th Hole Craigmillar park.
Problem is with the longest drive it is not necessarily the BEST drive, i would say my BEST drive was 355 yards (Not the hole above) with the original TM burner driver 1st Hole at Craigmillar Park in Edinburgh, made the putt for a 2 as well.
Furthest I've ever hit a ball was a sand wedge on the edge of the Grand Canyon, deep into the bottom. Not sure how far exactly but it was a pretty cool shot!
