I went to the funeral this week of an old work colleague who had died too early. It was held at a crematorium in the forest of dean in a beautiful forest setting, he had lived in the forest all his life.

The funeral was a humanist type and was very apt and well managed. A part of the ceremony played Sean Connery talking the Beatles song 'In my life' I found it very moving and apt.

Excellent socket and am sure a fitting tribute. Been to a couple of funerals this year. One in oldham crem and i spent ages in a daze just looking at ducks in the pond during the service. Me uncles kids read a fantastic euology.
The other was a non christian service. It was fantastic. To get 250 pit lads laughing takes some doing.
Both taken to early. ☹️
