Just thought I'd see if there's anybody out there who'd like to let me leave work.
You'd need to pay me enough money just so I can live and play golf every day.

I am a 10 handicapper and work is really getting in the way. I spend my days just wishing I was at the golf course to practice and play.

when i first started playing i didn't have to work as the wife has a very very good job. I played every day for about 3 months and i soon got sick of it and went and got a job. its not all its cracked up to be TBH

When people tell me if they won the lottery they'd soon get bored, I just can't understand it.

How did you get on in the 3 months? Significant improvements??

had never played at all before, first handicap from 24- 12 in 3 months. getting to Cat 1 took another 7 years though

My firm offered me a weekend shift so Sat and Sun 12hrs each day for my normal wage so i work 104 days a year with 14 days holiday will end up doing 90 days, its only the second month and already getting bored and thinking of getting an agency job on a Wednesday cant do Monday Tuesday or Thursday as I play golf.:smirk:

My firm offered me a weekend shift so Sat and Sun 12hrs each day for my normal wage so i work 104 days a year with 14 days holiday will end up doing 90 days, its only the second month and already getting bored and thinking of getting an agency job on a Wednesday cant do Monday Tuesday or Thursday as I play golf.:smirk:

Wednesday is a great day for the pub. Problem solved.

My heart bleeds for all of you for playing too much golf
it sounds horrendous. I feel so sorry for all of you that have too much free time on your hands.
Perhaps take up playing the violin.

I remember a run of knockouts in the mid 80's. 9 games in 11 days. Bored rigid by the last game. Anyway, I only play golf as penance for marrying the wife... I promise not to marry again!

Got made redundant a few years back, conveniently in time for the golf season. Played and practiced most days and I didn't get bored at all. Now work just gets in the way
