I have the GG Insula for the lighter gilet versions but getting a bit old - those soft shell look very nice - cheers for highlighting them :thup:

I also have one of these. It is perfect for what I wanted as it is super light and folds up into nothing so is just left in my bag. Although you cannot really wear it in the rain

I was looking in Decathlon at the weekend, they had a "quilted" version at around £10 with 2 other versions rising in price, they also had a softshell version at around £22
Both were in the "Hiking" department rather than golf, but both a great fit and serve a purpose away from golf

Yep. Down and water don't mix.
In all other respects it's perfect. You really can't tell it's on except for the toasty glow. I have a mate who has a non down 'stab vest' from a well known golfing vendor. Nowhere near as good and twice the price.
Ive a couple of Oscar Jacobson ones, not cheap but really good quality and will last.
