Guys i see in an earlier post that your off to Kilmarnock Barassie on Monday for the Volvo Finals day. I'm going too although am in the singles but just wondered if you had played the course before or went recently for a round.

I went down yesterday and played it as I've never been before, was a nice day but very windy. took me 91 blows to go round even though I felt I was hitting the ball really well. it's quite long off the whites and into the wind, I struggled to hit a lot of the greens in regulation.

Just wondered what your thoughts on it were, and how well (if you did) you played it ?

Hello mate, We played yesterday also - 14.30pm tee off. Was very windy and got caught in the rain after 14th. It is a good track albeit long (6800 off the back) and the wind was testing. We got round in a BB 37 points which wasnt too bad. Monday isnt looking good weather wise!

Tough mother of a track from the whites.

Its going to be tough, have you had any confirmation email from GMM or instructions for the day? I aint and too be honest the organisational skills leave a lot to be desired.

Good luck on Monday. Incidently yesterday at the 3rd I nailed a six iron 130 yards!

I went early doors yesterday, weather was really nice althought it was desguised behind the gale from the sea

For the third hole yesterday I nailed a driver down the right and then nailed a 4 or a 5 iron and just cleared that stream ?!?!

I only managed to amass 29 points so its not looking too good for me

I did get an e-mail and came into another one today (was sent at 12:57 today) with the final details and also a list of all the qualifiers and there handicaps. am up against it I think with 2*4, a 5 and a 6 handicapper in there.

I'll deffo say hello on the day and good luck to the both of you aswell.

I will do Rick...... They done me well this season, will give them another season and see how low they can take me.
