Bought these new, custom fit at Gainsborough when I started playing and didn't have a handicap, they saw me down to single figures but with recent swing changes are no longer suitable. I know their looks come in for some stick but there are few that would argue with the fact that these are great, forgiving Game Improvement irons.
In all we have 10 clubs, 3 to 9 iron, PW, SW and also an additional 7 iron (bought separately) I used to keep at work.
All are blue dot (0.75* upright) which can be altered by any Ping shop. The grips are Aqua with two wraps of tape, which make them pretty much exactly the same as the White (standard) grip which is on the 7i - I'm not sure why they did that?! I use standard grips in all clubs and see no difference. To my mind there's plenty of life left in these grips but that's always a personal choice.
The shafts are steel AWT Regular and in great shape - these clubs have been used but never abused, I ain't no club chucker/slammer and they've been very well looked after.
7 and 8 club sets are on eBay for 200-250. These 10 are offered at £200 plus postage to a Forumer, delivery method up to you. I could have said 250 and waited for someone to offer 200, but I'd rather just ask for the asking price and if I don't get it its off to the Bay with them!
