Just arrived in the mail my new Nickent 3DX Tour square driver. Mildly shocked when I unwrapped it to now be wielding what can best be described as a 'frying pan on a stick'. It's massive! Let's just hope it works!
First square driver for me and I like this brand, decent gear at a a decent price.
Will let you know how I get on with it in due course. This is my 3rd driver of 2008, the quest continues....

Your last one seemed to work well, so here's hoping it's not a case of out of the fryingpan and into the fire!

Looks nice though!

never herd of the company before, I take it not many places stock their products. I love the amount of shafts you have to choose from though looking at their website. How much did the beast set you back? Let us know how you get on with it.

You don't appear to be one who keeps kit long. I applaud your approach, as I always find new kit works best, and when the magic wears off (or the cheque clears) it is down hill all the way.
I think I could make scratch if I had new gear every week, unfortunately my budget doesn't stretch that far.

Nickent are pretty good, seem to be taking off in the US now, had a gap wedge previously.
Have fallen out with my current driver so need the confidence boost of a new stick!
Have a pal who plays the Nickent Genex 425 driver from 4 or 5 years back and it's is longer than any of the name brands. Had a try with it and liked it, trying square as a bit of a novelty, need to hit more fairways so hoping it is a little straighter as claimed. I paid £80 plus p+p (you can order them from the US cheaper) so it hasn't broken the bank, I'll get some ££ back on my old one too but being a Wilson probably not much, now on Ebay.

A) £80 That is a bargain!!
B) Whats up with the resale on Wilson?
c) Are you selling you old stick on here?

I'm looking a new driver I have fell out with the Ping G5 at the minute. So I may have a look at one of those they look the part. I hope it dosent make those strange noises whenever their hit!

Side on it's just like my Titleist 907 D1, Stu. Looks alright. Best of luck with it. Just heard about this company for the first time the other day, too.
