Am very annoyed at the moment. Had a bit of a bonus at work so treated myself to an MX700 driver to match my 3 wood. Ordered it and it arrived with the wrong shaft (wanted the standard shaft and had a Fujikara one fitted with marks on it) but thought it worth a try anyway. On hitting it for the first time it rattled so a swing weight had come lose. Whilst I cannot prove it, it would appear that the company I ordered from may not have had a stiff shaft in stock so have taken one out of another club to make the sale. Complained and returned the club by Parcelforce 48 to get it back quick. 2 days later, nothing. Call Parcelforce and tney have no idea where the item is. Appears that a Royal Mail postman collected it and put it in their systems and now it is lost in some sorting office with nobody having any idea where it is or what is happening with it. The claim on the insurance cover can take up to 30 days so no funds to replace it either.

I am now very annoyed, no driver, no money for it and a strong possibility that it will not be sorted in time for the Belfry.

Rant Over.

could be worse, you could have been sent Footjoy SYNR-G's where the glue and the leather has come away, then the cleats keep coming out. You send them back ASAP and expect a replacement pair but they are out of stock and try and fob you off with sending them back to FJ even though they are within the 28 day warrenty.

Instead of looking great on the Rabbits away day on Friday you will be wearing some battered Stuburt after paying £110 for new shoes two weeks ago and having had paid £15 for the first lot next day del and then another £5 to send faulty goods back... :shakeyfist:

I understand your pain bro..

out.

Would not normally have done so but it is at least a 60 mile round trip to my nearest Mizuno stockist and having tried the club before I thought I would order online.

Thought abour mailing Mizuno about the shoddy service you have recieved from an authorised stockist?

A bit about how much you love their new clubs etc and how dissapointed you are might just work.

Greg Nicholson Golf are very dodgy imho, I once ordered two Seve grind wedges then changed my mind about 20 minutes later and phoned to cancel and did so with the bank and they had quoted one figure and taken another. Also they are like 118Golf where if out of stock still let you buy it but then make you wait.

Mine at the mo is with Golfbuyitonline, I have used many times and even though they have been great before this they are just slow on returns.

If Mizuno are anything like TM then it will work a treat!

My brother bought an R580 driver a couple of years back and when it was only 3 weeks old took it to Portugal with him, on arriving back home he found the head had snapped off the shaft completely.

He took the club to his nearest TM retailer who said they would fix it, 2 days later he picked his club back up but noticed it had a different shaft to the one he bought it with, on trying the club at the range he said he thought the head was loose, on hitting the 4th or so ball the head flew clean off again.

Off he marched back to the shop, they apologised and took the club back and said it would be ready the day after. The next day our kid went to the shop where he could see the club hadnt moved from where he left it the day before so he walked back out and rang TM again.

TM apologised for the issue and said they would sort it, 45 mins later the guy from the shop rang and said the club would be ready within an hour.

Back to the shop to find his driver with the proper shaft all looking lovely.

5 days later a package arrives from TM with 2 dozen balls, a TM towel, a TM cap and a 10% discount voucher off any TM purchase at any TM retailer!!!!

Now thats good customer service! :)

I share your plight. I ordered two pairs of the 20th anniversary dryjoys (white and a black pair) primarily to replace my black dryjoys (ironically 8 years old and thesame design as the newbies) which have finally started to split after hundreds of rounds loyal service. They are still great on dry days but any moisture (dew or rain) and I get wet feet.

The only online store I could find them in and were in stock was 118 golf and for a decent price £89.99. I know, I know but I hadn't had any problems with the items I had ordered historically.

I ordered on SUnday and the site is still saying processing which I'm guessing is 118 lingo for out of stock and on order from FJ. I've sent an e-mail asking for an update but presume I'll get the standard reply saying they source from the manufacturer. If thats the case why not be up front and say they have to ordered via a 3rd party?

I'm sure if online customers knew they were coming that way and would inevitably take 7-21 days then at least we could order in time (for the Belfry meet for example)

I have to say I'm disappointed in 118 golf and thought others had just been unlucky. They will have to work very hard in terms of price and service to get any future orders.

Not really having a go at the company yet until I hear back from mizuno on whether the shaft could have been standard. Real annoyance is with parcelforce who managed it seems to lose my parcel in the van in between the post and sorting offices, who seem satisfied that saying we lost it claim on the insurance is acceptable custmer service and seem incapable of any level of remorse and, more imporantantly, have left me without a new shiny stick to use at the weekend
