I take on board what you are saying, however there is nothing in the terms and conditions to say what you can or cannot sell on the forum.

I am selling days/weeks in MY apartment which is golf related being front line golf. I am not selling or advertising any other apartments or goods on my web site only my own personal apartment.

Dare I add available for golf in August.

This forum is for avid golfers who share the same interest, hacks coming in here and not even saying hello and getting involved with normal banter just isnt on. I could come on here selling my companies pharmaceutical solutions and claim that it can be used to play tiger woods 2008, I choose not to as golf is my hobby not a means to make money.

this pizzez me off...this forum is "for sale/wanted" i don't see anything wrong in 9iron trying to rent out his apt. If it offends that much Brendy and Eagle...don't reply...this forum doesn't belong to you.

Hellbunker your quite right this forum doesnt belong to them, but nor does it belong to an advertising agency either. The for sale/ wanted section was added for established members to buy and sell gear to each other, not for people to join and advertise there company products or villa's with out even introducing themselves first.

This place is taking off and the webspace will soon start to add up. Why should we have to loose space or posts because free loaders cant be bothered to advertise properly or are too cheap to spend there cash on it.

I can't see anything wrong in someone advertising their apartment for rent on this section of the forum. I thought that was why it was split it up into it's various sections. Personally I thing it's good to get first hand recommendations on this sort of product, and of course, the vendor runs the risk of some pretty adverse comments if returning punters don't get good value for money.

It wouldnt be so bad dave as i said above if it were regular members/users advertising.

But its just people who go from forum to forum and plaster there ads all over the place.

Other people pay good money for advertising and its quite annoying to have others come along and just 'pitch up' and pi** off

9iron has made 4 posts, 3 of which related to his business venture on this thread and the other was an intro. It looks like he registered with the forum only to try and sell his product and he has no intention of contributing to the quality of the forum.

Well, I take your point fellas, and it's good that you are dilligent in spotting advertisers. Time will tell if 9Iron takes an active part. I think he is just a guy who plays golf and happens to own an apartment in Spain which he will rent out to any interested party. That's how I see him at the moment.

My reason for not using this forum!!

My name is Paul Harper, I am employed by a tractor manufacturer based in Italy, I enjoy playing golf when I get chance, I own 1 apartment on the Polaris world resort of Hacienda Riquelme, I developed my website myself from scratch with little knowledge having never developed one before. My web site is NOT a business it is for my own private apartment which I wanted to share with fellow golfers who like to play golf in the sun and on a 1st class course, hopefully to be included in the PGA tour. I DONNOT run a business and never have. Check the web site for youselves there is only one apartment listed if it was a bussiness i would have gone bust by now!!!

I join this forum (the first forum I had ever joined) thinking I would be able to comunicate with sensible fellow golfers, instead I find a forum with people (some not all) with there head stuffed that far up their ar*es they couldn't spot a business spam if it hit them between the eyes.

To those of you who supported me thanks to those of you who doubted me, as Hellbunker writes "it really PIZZEZ me off".

I have had no further input into the forum for 2 reasons:-
1 - Heads up Ars*s
2 - Found a better forum where I have been welcomed!!

Thanks to those of you who supported me and to those who have visited the website and contacted me. Enjoy your stay, glad to of service.
