played up at Bath today. decided to try out the app, see how accurate it was, all i got was the red light flashing saying 'low accuracy', at one point in the round it did reach the dizzy heights of 'medium accuracy'!! i had to wait a fair few minutes to actually get a distance (no one was behind me for a few holes, so no hold up). i think i got about 4 readings the whole round.
anyone else find this?

If you mean Freecaddie then no I've never had a problem and haven't seen any indication on the display for "accuracy".

no indication of accuracy??hmm......well i ave loaded up my course, it gives the hole at the top with +/- to change hole, underneath that is the distance (to middle, front and back), then below is a flashing light with the accuracy

I sometimes use the Golfshot GPS. On foreign courses (non comp) it's great for distances.

On home course I've stopped using it.

Never tried any free apps for distances so can't really comment.

This. I have the pro version (and have used the free version) And have never seen an accuracy indicator.
