I know it's not that uncommon, but it's been snowing on and off today, I mean it's nearly May, we should be having fair weather not snow.

tell me about it!

i took the dogs for a walk on Sunday morning in shorts, as it was a nice sunny morning. The current Mrs148 wanted to go to Tesco, so off we headed, got over the river and it started to Hail, 10 mins later it was still going and complete white out, then snowed on top of that all afternoon:(

I do worry about you sometimes mate , I can't recall ever seeing you with your trousers on  , never mind making your dogs wear shorts  , RSPCA should be informed . pmsl.

This was what some of us woke up to this morning!

That's just altogether offensive! It's nearly summer . My cycling commute was interrupted this morning with a surprise hail shower directly to the face. Then another one. Then I arrived at uni sweating profusely in beaming sunshine! The joys of spring...

Try living in the south east. IT's been between 14 - 20 degrees for weeks...!

;)

You could go off people ;)

Heavy hail showers in Edinburgh just now... Tried to play yesterday evening and was rained off. Cancelled last Saturday's game because of the forecast, only for it to not rain the whole weekend.

I'm fed up of it being unsettled, especially after being ill through the wee heatwave we had at the start of April.

It's got just under 3 weeks to sort itself out up there before 21 of us trott up for our annual golf hols. I'm leaving you in charge of it StrangelyBrown!

Out early yesterday for the Midweek Medal, and although there were a few rain/sleet showers, I played my socks off and put in what I thought was going to be a winning score. Later in the afternoon we were notified by email that the medal was abandoned "Owing to a sudden heavy snowfall, and following a suspension of 30 minutes where ALL holes did not clear the Medal was abandoned." Bummer!
