I was having a great week until last night, the most annoying thing was I nearly put Kane in for Costa who ended not playing in the midweek game.

190 for me, with jesus as my triple captain played.
I did mull over sanchez, or Kane for the captain, which kane as captain instead would have had me totalled at about 233!!!!
Think Ive secured 3rd place in the GM one, but in an ex. works one, Ive gone from about 150 behind (in 3rd-4th place over the last month to 1st place and 36 ahead), with one game to go.:whoo:
That one will win me £135, though, plus what I bet with Davey mac, and currently I'm 133 ahead of the missus (who I had a £10 bet with), and I also gave her a 125 point handicap, so very very close. She was actually about 2 points ahead of me 2-3 months ago.
Its a marathon........not a snicker.

I've been level pegging with my son all year until 2 weeks ago. He is now 40 points up on me with one round of matches to go. I'm in trouble

I went off the boil at the first double game week but was making a good comeback this week until a few of my players only played in one of the two games they should have. At least I had a good return from Sanchez as triple captain.

I managed to do a Spurs and finish second, whilst also being the nations sweetheart, in terms of attractiveness. :whoo:
Nothing, although you would expect GM to go into the gargantuan labyrinth that is the "freebies cupboard", and hoik out a set of Taylor made irons to the winner and maybe a few bits and pieces for the top 3, wouldn't you.
About £200 richer after the weekend - £135 for finishing top in my other league, £10 off the missus, a few other £20's here and there as well as £20 (+£10 for winning at RSG) off Fish for the reds finishing fourth. Overall a very nice week.:cheers:
