I've got no shame in admitting that fowler's putt on 18 would have had me sinking in a puddle of sweat! After watching Pieters rub one dead for a birdie, that tricky down hill 3 footer could have gone such a different way had it missed.

I still can't believe Pieters putt didn't drop but have to agree about Fowler's, I doubt I could have held the putter still.

Ricky ain't done too bad since he was accused of being overrated.

Those boots have to go though.

Isn't that sort of putt what the pros work towards though and trusting themselves to make it. Fowler is one of the best in the world now and while I've no doubt he was nervous given the fact it was a big win, it wasn't perhaps as testing as one at Augusta from the same length to win. All have to be holed though and well done to him but those boots...really?

Didn't Poulter have a share of the lead at one point? Perhaps somebody should have whispered in his ear that he was really playing in the Ryder Cup! At least he did better than Ernie Els and Lee Westwood who both missed the cut! :)

He done his usual and threw away a great chance. Seen him 3 putt from a decent range on one hole and just knew he would bottle it as usual recently.

Strange thing was he made some great putts early on to get into position and then when he got there his putter went cold

I think he has a mental block on winning. I remember a couple of times last year when he was in a great position and he shanked a few shots.

After reading his book he seems massively against mind coaches...but I think he is one guy who would really benefit from it.
