Funny thing happened in our first winter turnup today. There is a few pounds for getting a 2 at the nominated par 3. In one of the 8 four-balls all four players made a 2! Last to putt said he was bricking it.:D

Don't think I have ever seen a full 4 ball all get a 2.

good bit of pressure putting for the 4th member :D

Four players hitting drives up the middle of the fairway gets a ripple of approval from me. That alone is not overly common. 4 x 2's is not something I have ever seen.

I have played in a 4ball on a par 5 where we had 3 eagles and a birdie :)

I made four 2s in 11 holes once, one of them being a par 4.

I know a guy that made two 1s in a round, one of them a par 4

That guy that scored 57 made 3 holes in 1

A group making four 2s in a round, i would guess this is a daily occurrence in the uK

Maybe I wasn't clear that all 4 of them while playing together made 2's on the money hole. Not claiming it is/was extra rare, just not something I'd seen happen before. Handicaps were 1 at 4 and three off around 15 so not a super strong quartet.

Anyhow three eagles and a birdie certainly trumps it
