OUCH OUCH OUCH... Just completed four rounds of golf in a day for a local charity.. we raised £1100. But boy am i aching today lol.

The day started at 05:00 tee off at Tawe Vale golf club, moving onto Swansea Bay,Grove Golf Club and finishing off at Pyle & Kenfig at 20:15... thoroughly enjoyable day and with the added bonus of S.N.A.C. benefiting to the tune of £1100 :-) well worth the pain today ...

I hope you carried.

:D

Nice one mate. Decent amount of money raised too!!

My mate did 100 holes the other week, ended up 23 over for the entire day, which I'd have said is pretty respectable (his handicap is 4 so he was to handicap pretty much) keeping up the same standard for the whole day...and he carried for all of it ;)

Well in mate.. What did you shoot each round?

ended up on 116 pts four behind the winner... it was tougher than i expected as it was boiling. but yes well wort it we already planning next year now lol..

and i pushed, i needed the extra bag room for water after going out for a quiet pint the day before hoping to get home by8 ish .. but that turned into 11 ...

Well done Eltub - I was hoping to do it this year but as usual was too busy and lacking in the necessary momentum to get it done! I was even trying to see if 5 different courses would be possible?! Do you think 5am was the earlist you could start or could you do nearer 4.30?

Depends on the weather really, we could of gone off at 4:30 as it was a nice day, to get ahead we went off as two two balls on the first course and done it in just over 2 1/2 hours we played the rest as a fourball but five courses could be done you would just be finishing in the dark... you do need a nice day like i said before, and two balss all the way around would help as well.

Carried for four rounds on the Macmillan Challenge last year. Averaged 36 points (39,37, 35 and 33) so not a bad return. Didn't actually feel too bad until we stopped and once I sat down the stiffness started and it was painful. Well done though great effort and a tidy sum too

I thought that real golfers had their bags carried by someone else! :p

Real golfers push a trolley complete with brolley holder (and umbrella out) and a cowboy hat right out of the wardrobe of the Village People...Isn't that right Swinger? :D

I don't claim to be a golfer but that is how a real man plays golf!! :D

I take it you've not been looking around for a similar head garment? :)

Of course I have! Not found one worthy yet though :(
