Played in it a couple of years ago. Was fine up to the point of where they finally notifie us where the "regional" finals were to be held and lets just say they weren't very regional (we had a 4hr+ trip). Other than that it ran well and talked to someone who played in the final and said it was very well run (albeit at the Oxfordshire which isnt my fav venue)

This is a comp I've wanted to give a go for a while for the craic, but can never get someone interested enough in the event to join me. Shame they don't do a singles event, unless any forumers fancy it!
Did it last year as 4BBB, good to meet others and play other courses, seems well run but we were knocked out controversially in the 3rd round plus they only got a sponsor for it recently.

Me and my mate are in the pairs again.
We went in the other year and pulled Royal Lytham St.Annes away out in the first round!!! We won with a chip in on the 22nd hole. A fantastic day,indeed. We got through a few rounds but went out in the round before the final qualifier, by getting beat 1 and o at S and A.
Come'ead if we all get through, we can share petrol.
