Is it an unwanted record?

My game has gone to pot, just over 2 weeks since my best ever Medal round of 81, I cant break 90 at the moment, every part game is so inconsistent.

Thursday was a Stableford, I scored 24 points, Yesterday Manchester Ladies Championship, net 84, Today was the Club Championship, I hit the ball very well early in the round but my short game was woeful, after the 6th my head slumped and so did the rest of my game, result a net 86 and a net 82, so I have gone from 11.5 to 11.9 in record time.

I am having a week off golf this coming week, Hopefully the break will do me good and I can finish the season the way I was playing not very long ago, I really hope so, competition golf is pretty miserable right now.

Golf can be infuriating, two good shots in a row and suddenly your game comes back. I've been in the doldrums often enough now to just pick my target and hit the next shot. Chin up.

Take a week off Louise, if you can! it will help, I'm sure.

Ive had 13 .1's on the trot. Will never stop me from entering a comp or playing a social game though.

always helps when you're playing well but a wee rest won't do any harm. You play more than the tour pro's!

Golf is so unpredictable. Two weeks ago I was on 12.4 and playing the monthly medal with no small degree of terror and trepidation. The recent form had been dire and I fully expected my .1 increase as a foregone conclusion seeing me back into Cat 3 and a 13 handicap.

Yet in the event I shot a 67 out of nowhere and with a CSS of 71 I was suddenly 11.6 and feeling on top of the world.

Take a short break if you like, but then get stuck right back into it again, and I'm sure things will start going back in the right direction again.

Nett 55 is great golf ;)

Feeling your pain. My game has gone to pot since winning the June stableford and qualifying for the end of season "Masters". Shanks and all sorts in there now. Not sure I can think of ever getting four 0.1's back so quickly. Hope you find it again soon
