So I had an idea tonight and I am sure a few people wont want to get involved... which is fine - don't

But I thought it would be interesting to see everyone's swing - I have read some peoples advice on here and thought wow they must seriously hit it like Rory and alternatively people mention they hack it round regularly and score high 70's so I think it would be interesting more than anything if we made a thread full of peoples swings?

I will start - put what you want in the post but maybe years playing the game, handicap and whether you are self taught / lessons from the start / occasional lessons etc would be good info...

Like I say its not about comparing these like stats just abit of fun and a chance for people to have a very small insight into your game


Ive been playing 3 years and had a few lessons early on for fundamentals.... then spent a year or so hitting balls down the range trying my hardest to stick to what I had been told...

Currently off 19 and on my way down with 2 cut in my last two outings

Bit more extension required in the backswing but some very sound fundamentals in that swing. I see no reason why your handicap shouldn't continue to come down :thup:

This is me.

Started playing in May. Currently knocking around the 100 mark, but practicing and playing as much as possible!

No lessons, going to invest in January once Christmas is out of the way. Be kind!

This was me during the summer.....massive over swing problems but hitting the ball nicely. Since then I've worked on slowing my backswing and turning the shoulders more to stop the over swing which I think is working, will have to do another video though.



should add official handicap is 17.5....had a few rounds of playing to 13-15 recently :clap:

This is me swinging on a pretty bad day. Wasn't relaxed enough, and it was a big pull to the left. Only been playing about 18 months, making decent progress, scoring sub-100 regularly now. Hopefully get some better footage next time I get down to the range

Here is a couple of me from last month.
Handicap is currently 2 but been between 1 and 2 all year with a lowest of 1.1. Not done too bad all things considered with a few injuries and very little range time but have played a good bit when I could.
Been playing golf for about 14 years in total with the last 6 or so very frequently. Had a few lessons but generally keep an eye on my swing with a few videos to figure out what I want to be working on.

Haha! That is how it feels all the time Rich. I'm all about 60%!!

The only reason I took these is because there was a young girl (over 18!) hitting next to me so I thought I'd ask her to do a couple of things for me. Was surprised how far my follow through was as that only happens when I'm feeling tip top!

She did smile at me after I asked her if she would mind looking after my balls while I went to the locker rooms quickly! She didn't follow though.

Not overly sure I made a good impression as I hit a shank which isn't something I do but expressed my displeasure fairly loudly.
