Ok guys and girls let's be honest and who is top dog. I am not proud to admit that I had 6. It's was only Mrs AD who curtailed my consumption. All with lemon juice and sugar.

The batter is mixed, sugar and lemon at the ready, apparently a round of golf burns the same amount of calories that 10 pancakes add. I played a round today so...

Just got back from my mum's and I'm proud (and embarrassed) to say that I had 18 (yes 18) all with lemon and sugar.

I have them as a main meal if that's of any justification.

18, impressive! it is about a gallon of batter what did your mum mix it in? a dustbin?

With 3 older brothers a dustbin doesn't cut it.... We have the family trough for such occasions.

There was a panic earlier as we forgot to get some plain flour in, so, we (not me) made them with self raising flour and they tasted much nicer and were loads lighter, a full dinner plate size and I've just had 4 with sugar and lemon juice

The Mrs only made enough mix for two each which is suposidly more than enough. Anyway I insisted on making another batch but double the ingredients which she only ate another one so ended up eating 8 large pancakes just to keep face any use all the mix up. I now feel sooo full I don't want to move at the risk of been sick!

I made about 30 after work for my kids (well 2 are adults lol) and I had none as couldnt be bothered doing any more for myself.

Was a chef for 13 years so had 2 pans on the go, doddle. They were still eating them quicker than I could make them lol. I think my lads managed 12 each!

I had 4 large ones. The missus has decided to give me grief for being a fat git so ive stopped. :(

She will be going to bed shortly :ears:

This is my second pancake day of the year. Somehow both me and the missus thought it was last week so we've celebrated it twice (kids didn't complain). I reckon I easily beat 6 if I count both days.:D
