Hi all

we have a short notice opportunity for next week - Wednesday August 6th - for 3 golfers to go through the Amercian Golf 'Boot Camp Experience' at their new flagship store at Monument in the City of London and appear in a future issue of the magazine and associated videos.

During the 'Boot Camp Experience' you'll get an assesment of your game from one of their PGA Pros and go through the AG custom fitting process in one of thier state of the art fitting bays

The sessions willlast around 90 minutes each so you'll only be required for half a day max and you can specify your prefered slot AM or PM

Those selected will get a £75 AG gift voucher as a thank you for taking part. GM will also reimburse your travel costs

In view of the short notice nature of this opportunity applications are welcomed from those who have been selected before and being selected for this wont rule out of future opportunities

We are looking for three types of golfer to feature so if you fit into one of the categories below...
  • Nomad golfer, 18 plus handicap, aged under 30
  • Club member, handicap between scratch and 18, aged 50 years or above
  • Nomad golfer, 9-18 handicap, aged 30-50
...and can do next Wednesday August 6th and fancy getting invloved then email me michael_harris@ipcmedia.com with the following info

  • name/forum name
  • contact phone number
  • age/h'cap/playing status
  • which of the categories you fit in to

thanks!
Mike

Whilst I might be 18 handicap on Wednesday, especially given my current form, I'm not at the moment. For that reason I'm out.

I take it a nomad golfer is someone who isn't a member of a club then? Shame. That rules me out of the last category.

Good luck folks,

At least I can smile at the fact that this is the first time in years that I have been too young to apply for something

Their..... not thier.

Welcome to 'Pedants are Us'! You get the job as spell-checker!

It surely wouldn't have been a lunch-time ale that caused the mis-timing of fingers on keyboard!

I'm outside the selection criteria, but another great opportunity for some - kudos to AG and GM for setting it up!

Another Cracking Opportunity for someone from Golf Monthly, I don't fit any of those categories, good luck to who ever gets chosen. Look forward to reading about it.

Great opportunity, I know somebody that works at that store and says it's looking good.

Sadly though, I don't fit the required demographic.

I can be free if you're stuck Mike but don't fit in to any of the brackets required. Shame as I bet there are a couple of good drinking holes nearby!

Have a nice day those selected.

Shame as I'm not at work at the moment either
