Formby (just worse than Hillside) Sunday 2nd November

Glynda is coming to the golf coast for that weekend, and we're going to play Formby.

The price is £220 per fourball, which is £55 for any people who work in finance. :tongue:

So far, in no particular order is:-

Lincoln Quaker
Me
Huds
Odvan
Birchy

Do we have another 2-3 to make it up to 8, or even more to get a few more fourballs up. Only fair that the first to reply and pay fill up the fourballs first.

I would of signed up usually mate but as I'm playing another of the NW classic links the day before(probably rated somewhere between Formby & Hillside) I'll give it a miss this time. :cheers:

He's taking the proverbial mate.. It's a running joke up here that Fleetwood is a classic links course.. They know I don't like it and keep arranging rounds there.. Lousy B'stards

With regards to the OP, would have loved to but its my lads big derby game that day.. It's also likely that I'm off the course now till after the operation.. Enjoy the game...:thup:

Would love to have joined you guys but it's slightly more than a 30 minute jaunt from Bournemouth. I was blown away by Formby when I played it earlier this year :thup:

I get a bit of Stick in the NW about my admiration of a certain Rough and Ready links a little further up the coast.

Ok, so the locals sleeping rough in the Bunkers is a little unusual but it doesn't put me off
