I have to say, if any of the northern lot haven't played the Par 3 course there, its excellent and you should. The greens tonight were so quick, bunkers protecting nearly all the pins and as its basically a links course, you really have to think about your shots, carry and run. Where there's water they've cut down all semi rough so it'd would simply run in.

Undulating greens with rarely a straight put, a third hole that might well be only 100 yards dependant on the tee position that day (it can go to 120) completely surrounded by water and bunkers worthy of any top course, it's a real challenge.

I believe they had the Par 3 challenge or sommat for the amateurs there a few years back and Tommy Fleetwood won it.

Add to that a bar that serves fantastic grub and the usual girls spar facilities, its well worth a crafty day, dumping the missus (or hubby) in a room getting covered in mud or whatever floats their boat. I've played the 18 hole course there too and it was 'ok'. That was in winter.

Honestly, as Par 3 courses go, this has to be up there with the best.
