As the title says was playing very well.Driving arrow straight short game good(chipping was excellent)striking irons well.
now driving is shocking putting poor irons so so at best.
i just can't seem to get out of it,do I have a few weeks off or just play through it.The more I play the more frustrated I get.
quickly falling out of love with game.
bet I can't play to 28 at the moment.
Please help.

I'll see your loss of form and raise you my dross. Doubt I can beat 36 regularly. I'm like you and frustrated. Had a lesson last week and it was awesome although I couldn't play at my course as the racing was on at Royal Ascot. Hit the range this week and a few holes and worse than before I had the lesson and feel totally lost

Direction - weak slice. Got a feeling it's posture related with the shoulders too far over (in front of the shoes) as this was the issue at my lesson and think its crept in. I'll get it sorted one way or another.

I feel your pain, not had a lesson yet. One thing is I know where all the shots are going high and right. The only thing I can think of is it feels like I have lost my body turn not getting through it.stupid game

Bobmac all high and right driver, woods irons, the strike is good with the driver just big blocks or slice.nothing left.

A problem that has crept into my game is tilting my shoulders rather than turning. This has crept in as I've been working on dropping my left shoulder to get my hands higher, but tilting the shoulders rather than turn. This has resulted in a blade come shank where it shoots right

The only thing that feels different is I seem to get stuck at lmpact no body turn it feels all arms. Not getting through it.

I'm in the same boat.

2 wins out of 3 comps this year including a 74 but the last 10 days I've been dire.

Frustrated isn't a strong enough word.

OP couple of things maybes worth considering
would look to what your hips are doing or maybes not doing - but first off would checkover grip, set-up posture alignment maybes ball position would guess something has altered some to start with

check over you not swaying laterally trailside during the takeback of the club

could be that you then not really moving off the trail side so not able to rotate & clear the lead hip which will in also tend to prevent and limit upper body rotation so bit of a lean back face never closes to square

or could be you sway laterally trail side but then have a pretty big lateral sway to target which often times means a littel ways of a stand-up through the ball, with loss of the pelvic address angle, again this makes it a bunch impossible to turn and clear the lead hip, prevents and limit upper body rotation again with the high hands here at impact the face is pointing right never really squares up

so does nay of the above seen familiar

trip to Pro if possible would see 'whatever' this is straightways

that not possible really check grip, posture, alignment and ball position and if any of the above did seem familiar concentrate on an rotation of the upper body with weight staying on the inside of the trail foot - so there's no lateral shift as you take the club back and complete the shoulder turn and don't 'rush' back to the ball

The coach, thanks now you mention it I think I could be swaying back a little and maybe the transition between the back swing and the swing is a little quick.resulting in loss of tempo.going to see about a lesson going to change pro as the new one is opposed with me hitting a draw(happy with little fade)
want a pro who will work with what I got and not wholesale changes.

If any help, I had a huge issue with high, weak fades which my pro identified was down to moving my head and weight forward of the ball on my downswing, thus delivering the clubface open into the back of the ball.

As to loss of form, I can feel that pain.... 14 counters played this season, 13 x0.1s through a mix of bad scores and NRS; then went out on Wednesday in the midweek medal and shot gross 79/66.. form is temporary and it will return.
