Yep, a Ping club has entered my bag.

I love the putter I have. When you hit it out of the sweet spot it feels luverly.

You'd think that when you only have to take the putter back 2' at most then it should be easy to get it back to the ball in the right place, but for me apparently not.

My (until today) current putter is a blade with all the meat behind the sweet spot, so when you don't hit it quite right it's easy to leave a 20' putt 6' short and usually offline too as the head twists from the off centre contact.
Other times you can subconsciously over-compensate, then a 10' putt will go 5' past!

Anyway, I thought I'd try a putter with more weight at the heel and toe so I've been keeping my eye out on ebay for an anser type putter going cheap.
I'd bid on a couple but got outbid late on and managed enough will power not to bid more than I wanted to, but this afternoon managed to win a brand new Ping iwi Zing with just one bid.

I had an old Ping Zing (I think it was a Zing2, but my memory is rubbish) when I was a kid, but I can't even remember if I was a good putter or not lol.

We'll see next weekend I guess :o
