Hi all. I have a foresomes match one evening next week. Am I allowed to play the course before the match?

if it's a match v opponents rather than a competition v a field then the answer is yes - there are effectively no practice limitations.

rule 7-1 is your authority

"a. Match Play

On any day of a match-play competition, a player may practice on the competition course before a round. "

one of the simpler rules!
