Classic - disappointed at Crossgates being highlighted but no mention of Kelty.

Incidentally, Bob, there is a definition of kelty in Webster's Dictionary:

Kelty - an additional glass of liquor forced upon a reluctant drinker. Origin of KELTY. origin unknown

Also isn't inverkeithing called "what's that smell" on account of its the first thing people say when they hit the town:D

Great stuff and not disparaging at all. As for being a dump- ye takes the good with the bad and there's plenty of both and don't ye know, 'The Home of Golf' with many of the best links in the world and many decent courses that our neighbours doon South would love to have as their local for the prices we pay.

Spot on that, but the case for the defence by a sassenach is:-

I went for a week at the end of October and St.Andrews, Pittenweem, Crail, Anstruther are great places to visit along the coast.

Yes Meffil !

Claim to fame 2nd Highest In Uk for Intravenous Drug Users per head of population and the only place I've seen a Queue of folk in their Jammies and Baffies standing outside the Post Office at 11 in the morning. Well worth a visit but don't stop the car.
