I would imagine the link to the web site is for anyone who hasn't heard of the brand name to check out the clubs, as otherwise these are expensive for a brand most haven't heard of (they do have a good reputation), and that they are being sold by an individual not a company.

However, it is the usual 'joined the web site solely to sell something' which is still annoying, but not as annoying as a company doing it.
