Hi all

I just wanted to share some positive feedback about the customer services at FootJoy

Last year I received a pair of shoes which when I went to use this year I found to be too big. I normally take a size 8 in everything so had just selected a size 8 without thinking. Unfortunately when I came to wear them they were too big. As I had nothing else with me I needed to wear them and I thought this might be an issue when wanting to exchange them but contacted there customer services anyway.

The issue was dealt with very promptly and helpfully by their customer services. Emails were answered and they organised the return of the shoes for them to look into. Again communicating throughout they advised me when the were received and when they had reviewed the issue. The outcome is that they have offered to replace them which I believe will be with the updated model which I will receive in the next week or so.

As you would expect from FootJoy the shoes were of the highest quality and their customer services matched this. It is very nice to know that you have a brand that really does help the customer and they will continue to get my custom in the future.

Good to hear.

Everything in the golf market has such a high mark up, just for being golf related. This usually allows for great customer service and returns.

Nice to hear you got good after sales service, but this is the bit that has me confused:

the shoes themselves seemed very good quality just 1/2 size / 1 size too big. I have always associated Foot Joy with a quality product

DNA and Hyperflex both size about +1 to normal. Who knows why; but my Hyperflex are 8 while my Dryjoy Tour, Hydrolite and AWD are all 9.

Found out on Sat at the golf show off FJ its because of the more rounded toe which makes the shoe a little longer plus means more space for your foot to slide up and down. Not good according to FJ rep.

Have had a few issues with FJ shoes over the last couple of months

First last October time the spikes on the FJ Casual Tour came away so I sent them back - they couldn't replace them as they didn't do them anymore ( shoes only 6 months old ) - so was given credit with them and told to wait for the Pro SL, was given about 4 different dates from them

Ordered a pair of the BOA on the first day the Pro Shop could order them Mid Jan - told they would arrive quickly - the Pros arrived but I waited for another 6 weeks. In the same time another pair of FJ Casual Tour spikes came loose so sent them away as well - FJ credit - another pair of Pro SL ordered , told would have to wait until May ! Even though the shoes were only out 2 werks prior. Thankfully a pair I wanted arrived in the main stock order so grabbed them but the BOA I ordered still hadn't arrived. They finally arrived last week. The communication from them has been poor throughout - Pros chased constantly with them and the local rep - constant false promises from both of them. Our pro as well was waiting and waiting for his stock order

I kind of made this mistake

ive got Footjoy Freestyles in a 10.. im a 10 in every shoe I have had since about the age of 14.

however these ones come up a bit big prob could do with a 9 1/2 or something

annoyingly bought them this time last year and only wore them about 3 times lol

gonna try them again wednesday

Same here with the Pro SL - ordered 2 pairs nearly 4 weeks ago, no idea when they'll come.

Really poor, the shoe is being worn by everyone and has been for quite some time- didn't they have any idea that they'd be pretty popular!? Arse

Footjoy have been showing them off for over 6 months now , they have been out in the US since August/September time , where supposed to come out in the U.K. around October but have been delay after delay and when they finally arrived normal sizes where taking weeks sometimes months !

Hope yours arrive soon because they are actually brilliant shoes

Never had a sizing issue with any FJ range as opposed to Adidas (my other preferred brand) which come up small and/or narrow. I was looking at Pro SL and was told by my pro a minimum of 5-6 weeks as they hadn't any in stock in Cambridge

I can't see past FJ for my shoes.

I used to be like this until I bought a pair of Nike LC3 in an outlet that I rate so much I have another 3 dead stock pairs.

Had previously considered Nike to be not a proper golf shoe brand but the LC3 have been 100% waterproof for me even walking in long grass whereas I have ended up with wet feet in each of the 4 or 5 different model FJs I owned.

I used to think that was my own fault for walking in long grass and not the shoes until I started wearing the LC3s.

I think their styling is superb but for me they take a while to wear in - have to use blister plasters etc

Adidas though for me are the most comfortable by a mile -the gripmores and the tour 360 boost are the best shoes I have ever had

I was at the Scottish Golf Show over the weekend, and I got fitted by FJ here.

I usually take a UK 9 in Normal shoes, but for FJ I was advised to go down a size lower, I have Hyperflex and more recently got DNA 2.0 to get me through the Winter. After my fitting, the FJ Rep told me to actually got down 1.5 for any FJ shoes. So now I should be taking a 7.5
