Looking to take advantage of the launch of 2012 kit,and pick up a bargain on 2011 line items.

I am interested in the Tour Collection Rainshirt and Tour Raintrousers.

Any present owners out there with feedback on quality, performance, sizings, stockists etc ?

On their homepage, the sizings look quite big for teh jackets

Greaves in Glasgow are getting their new supply in mid-Feb so will try on in there before heading online to buy

Any other FJ clothing stockists in Glasgow area ?

Cheers

Crawfy I own a set of FJ tour collection waterproofs from 2010. What I like about them is that they are lightweight and smart looking and they will keep you dry. They look the business and are very comfortable you hardly know that you are wearing them. Easy to stow away as well because their not chunky.

On the downside the first pair of bottoms I returned after a few months as a hole started to develop near the pocket. I used to carry a bag a lot more so its where the bag rubs against your hip when walking. Plus a only hand washed a couple of times in cool water as per instructions but the black enamel came off the stud buttons. This is no big deal though.

The next pair are wearing better (probably because I carry less). I dont wash them fully now just wipe down instead with a clean rag.

I would buy another suit unless proquip can make a simple plain black suit for half the price.

I've got the Footjoy jacket.

Agree with sawtooth in that it is very lightweight, not bulky at all and fits really nicely (some waterproof jackets are like wearing a tattie sack).

I really like it, very plain, very comfortable and very waterproof. Job Done. I also shove mine through the washing machine pretty much every week and no problems so far.

I have the tour rain shirt in grey. Haven't really put it through its paces as yet but it certainly looks well made and aesthetically imao it is well ahead of the competition. Size wise I would drop down a size from what you would have for normal clothes I.e large to medium, but then I find that with alot of golf tops/jackets.

I've got FJ waterproofs, had them about 4 months, really pleased with them, Like the trousers as you can wear them on their own as they have belt loops + zip fastening, jacket comes up quite large, warm & comfortable and easy to play in.

I have a set in black with white flashes. It is a great suit but my only gripe is the trousers tend to come up a bit type. I've got a pair of medium and then are a little snug around the middle but fit a treat in the leg. Tried on the large and better in the waist but long and too big in the leg. As the suit was a freebie it didn't matter but I prefer the cut of my proquip
