Hi as above I am after a pair of golf shoes and I've narrowed it down to these two pairs, does anybody have any who could give some feedback good or bad please? thanks Gary

Hi! I had the snrg. Must admit I didn't find them comfortable at all. I broke them in over 6 months. Maybe this wasn't long enough, but after 6 months I went back to my tour 360's.

I have the sports. Not the best.

Wait til October when the new pair of fj come out. They are similar to the sport in looks, but way, way better.

had 2 pairs of Dryjoys tour, both uncomfortable, now gone with the sport, if its not better I'll be leaving FJ after 27 years association.
I wonder if they have an outsourced manufacturer now as they are definitly not as good as they were

I have just gone back to FJ but that was only because the Contours were on offer for £49.00 with the BOA lacing system. They have been very comfy so far but I would not pay £100.00 for them. FJ used to be head and shoulders above everyone else and if you look at forum threads from 2-3 years ago about shoes then almost everyone would recommend FJ. Now with FJ getting worse and others getting better it is nowhere near as clear cut.

Thanks for the feedback, murph, rick do you know where I would be able to see a preview of the new sports shoes, I was looking on getting some for a trip to Portugal next week but if I like the look of the new ones I'll wait thanks again Gary

Had a bad experience with dryjoys.

Current adidas are 0% waterproof so think i'll have a look at the new fj's or onto puma or ecco i think...

I'm holding off for the new shoe too having had all the feedback from Hawkeye. Definitely going to create a revolution

wow exciting stuff, a revolution, it's not a hover shoe is it?

Intresting one.... I recently got the synrg's.

Had a a pair of Tour 360's which I got last November, loved them they fitted like a glove straight away and looked the biz. Over the Summer the heel started falling apart so took them back to my pro and he changed them no probs, He offered me a pair of Puma's, wait on Tour 360's atv coming in or have a a pair of this years synrg's. Went for the Synrg's in the end.

Although they look alright am just not sure about them, they took a full month to wear in (8 rounds) and I still dont think there as comfy as my Tour 360's or the FJ Dry-joys I had previous.
I reckon I would only give them 5 out of 10.

I'm going to treat myself to a pair of secret squirrels as a special reward for starting my new job :)

I think I will get a pair as a reward for you starting your new job too ;)

Was going to get a new pair but after hearing the chaps not giving anything away I will wait ;)

Own a pair of both and hate the SynR-Gs. I found them incredibly comfortable in the shop but horribly uncomfortable to walk the course in.

I completely love my FJ Sports though, best shoe I've had in ages. Very comfortable and stable and extremely waterproof! A few weeks ago I decided to put my waterproofs on and attempt to hit my ball out of a stream in about 2 inches of water (the water level was just below the laces) stood there for about 15 seconds and while I only managed to advance the 7iron about 30 yards, my Sports kept my feet completely dry...

I had a pair of sports and they didnt keep my feet dry at all. Not good, I'm going through FJ's like no mans job. I have the aqualights now, there not bad. But in wet conditions forget about FJ's.

This is the thing, these new FJs may be a wonderful inovation but that has never been the problem. Over the last couple of years it has been the manufacturing quality that has gone down the pan and FJ need to sort that rather than spending time re-inventing the wheel.

So we have almost successive posts saying that supposedly identical shoes did / didn't keep their feet dry. That would suggest real inconsistency in manufacturing quality.

Shame, as FJ were the go-to brand for anyone wanting guaranteed quality a few years ago.
