Anyone own a pair of these? Thinking about paying a little extra on the trade in and get myself a pair.. OR should i stick with the likes of the greenjoys/AQL's..

The little wheel at the back puts me off them a little as i would be worried that it might break in a short time..

I didn't buy a pair as I was concerned just how tight they would fit on my feet. One of my partners on a Saturday has a pair and says they are realy comfy. Not much help I know but I guess that is at least positive that they seem good to wear. The thing with FJ is that they are pretty good to go straight from the box with little or no breaking in

My wife had this lace system in a pair of running shoes. The wire broke, and rendered a £100 pair of shoes useless. At least if normal laces break, you can add a new pair.

I had a pair for a couple of years.
Very comfy.
The lace system didn't break and I had no problems with them.

I liked the Realfits because I have a narrow heal. The system meant the shoe fit all over my foot rather than just over the top of the foot.

They are really easy to slip on & off in the car park aswell.

Yep, I have them in white. Had them for a couple of years, and there still in pretty good nick.

Although I've bought a couple of pairs of synr-g's this year, I've still kept them and will wear them when needed.

Had a pair and they leaked. I found that they were ok, nuffin special.

i be happy to hand out the money if my feet stayed dry.. Tho maybe i'ed be better with dry joy's then..

Ground in my part of the world is almost wet every time we are out, so for me i need something dry..

I have always worn dryjoys in the winter, and classics in the summer. Classics are not waterproof, even though they have a two year warranty. Waste of time sending them back. The dryjoys are fine though.

I have a pair. The lacing system is great and provides a brilliant fit and is quick and effective for putting them on / taking them off. However aesthetically, and in terms of comfort from the insole / shoe mould they are, like someone else said, nothing special.

I found that once they stretch you had no way of tightening them once the two sides met in the middle. And another thing is that I have a huge issue with shoes that meet or overlap in the middle. They make me squirm.

I feel like I'm missing out.

I've not got 6 pairs of golf shoes, normal shoes, trainers, slippers, flip-flops and any other type of footwear all added together!

Direct Golf are giving me 40 quid off a pair and the dry joys i see at 100 quid might be worth a look it.. other opt is just to get a pair of green joys for 35 quid lol might do the job for a year or so..

thanks for the advise on them guys anyways,,

The lace system is brilliant and a thousand times better than laces, especially on cold/wet days or during winter.

If you overdo it a touch and after a few holes you think they feel tight, you just pop the wheel out, pop back in and re-tighten to your comfort.

Not 100% waterproof but I've only experienced a sense of coldness rather than any dampness at extreme times.

A good shoe in my opinion.
