Footjoy DNA

I don't think they are as comfortable as adidas models - took a while for me to wear them in. No where near as comfy as your adiboost

My Adiboost are a bit tight Phil. I can get away with them with a very thin pair of socks, but I don't like wearing very thin pairs of socks.
I like something really light on my trotters, and these read "very light".

Are they as comfortable as people say?
Seen them on the 'bay for under £100.00 so seem reasonably priced.
Am I too old for something so snazzy????

You're too old for shoes full stop! If they only could put cleats into an old pair of carpet slippers

We must be looking at the same ones smiffers

I've worn puma for the last 4 years but the later models do not seems as comfy as the cell fusions.

I'm off shoe shopping Thursday night, it's either hyperflex or dna although I'm slight cautious as the FJ sports were total crap and I went through about 3 pairs in less than 6 months

Wide fit ?

It's time now for you to go Ecco - you have hit that age :D

I tried a pair of DNAs a couple of weeks ago. They only had an 11 (I'm normally a 12) the length was perfect but they were too narrow . So I'd probably have needed a wide fit but a size smaller than normal. If you are buying online just make sure there are free exchanges / returns 👍

I played round Penha Longa with a Swedish friend of mine who was wearing a new pair of DNA shoes. Over two rounds, pretty much all the cleats fell out and got lost.

Not for me.

In FJ's I normally find they fit out of the box. Size 9 every time but I've heard the DNA's come up a bit large?
I don't like Ecco shoes. Dunno why.

I have had to go a size down for FJ

Ecco are very comfy I'm just not a fan of the styling

Seems like everyone have different opinions but for me the best golf shoes I have ever owned. So comfortable straight out of the box. I usually get blisters with new shoes but not with the DNA's. I will be getting another pair.

Yip, I need a half size smaller than my normal FJ's.

I found them very comfortable out the box and easily as comfortable as Adiboost.

Yeah I guess it is foot dependant- by far the best shoes I have owned and had them for a year now- I have had Adizero's & footjoy hyperflex before these!!! so comfy... will definitely be sticking with when these are done but reckon you get 2/3 years out of each shoe with regular use.

one thing though if you are sometimes clumsy on your feet(not me obviously ;)) they can wreck greens- the spikes if dragged a bit definitely ruin the turf
