I wouldn't normally be trying on shoes I don't need because I am then tempted to buy them. However, I was wasting time before the comp last Thursday in the pro shop and made the mistake of trying on a pair of FJ DNAs. Those things are so comfortable they should come with a pipe and an armchair I'm off to Florida on Friday and the in-laws have just given me some dollars for my birthday, I don't need them but there is a feeling of inevitability about it ...

3 rounds with them and I have my feet ripped apart with massive blisters on my left toe !

But then you have also experienced leaking FJs and I never have. Maybe your feet aren't FJ compatible

Why anyone would look beyond the AQL's is a mystery to me. They have never let me down. I got 3 years out of the last pair and they still looked good, comfy too. I've just un-boxed a new pair for this season. Best all round shoe IMHO and reasonable on the wallet.

I threw my AQL's away...they looked great, but found them really hard on my feet. I do like my DNA's though have just gone spineless as the really dry weather we have had means my course is very firm at the moment. Need some rain

it is very possible - Adidas fit like slippers and are very comfy on my feet.

But also for the price of the DNAs - i would expect a lot more

Think this maybe me too! My contours leaked for the first four rounds so returned them. Recently bought a pair of xps-1 3rd in and a spike has broke in half and my right foot was really damp!
