I have a pair of FJ DNAs... they are easily the most comfy golf shoes i ever had and I would not mind getting another.
The current pair has started leaking, so was going to go down to Silvermere to get them checked out. I have the original receipt and it is from July 2014. I am pretty sure that the DNAs had a 2 year guarantee, but the card in the box says 1 year. Anyone knows better about the guarantee

My Dryjoy tours have just started leaking as well and they only have a 1y waterproof warranty I've had them about 18 months. The reality is I've probably only worn them during the winter when it's wet as I wear spikeless during the summer so they've only had 6 months use at most and they've still leaked. My last pair of contours were the same.

I'm going to look at other brands, possibly Adidas, as I think they do a 2y warranty on all their shoes.

My experience of footjoys that as long as your shoes have been well kept and are in good condition for their age hen you won't have any problem even though you're beyond the guarantee period.

Be good to know how you get on

Bear in mind that UK consumer law now requires items to last an appropriate time regardless of warranty. If you can make a case that a pair of golf shoes should last longer than 18 months then go back to the manufacturer and tell them!

I would argue that the proof would be how well you have cared for them and one of the things they will ask is if you force dried them near direct heat (radiator). I guess unless you contact FJ and ask the question you won't know how receptive they may be

Some Puma shoes give 2yr guarantees but the others are just 1yr, I'm pretty sure. I've just bought some pumas and did quite a bit of shoe research before doing that.

No radiators involved at my end..

Went down to Silvermere earlier today. The guy mentioned that Silvermere does only 1 year warranty, but FJ may have a longer one. So it has now been packaged up and sent to FJ for forensics. If I had the money, i would buy another pair of DNAs too,,

I didn't doubt you about radiators. Merely pointing out it's bound to be a basic question from FJ

All i can say is don't get your hopes up.

i had a pair of shoes that were sent back to FJ after a couple of months for leaking.

they came back and said Id worm them too much ( wore them 5 times a week for 2 months), so for them a 12 months guarantee might only be once a week for 12 months.

i would never buy another pair of FJ now

Top marks to FJ.. they came back with a voucher ... which we will go to buy another DNA....

Went down to Silvermere and picked up the credit note.. Try to buy another DNA, but they did not have my size. Also they are not taking new orders for DNA - apparently FJ is launching DNA 2.0 mid Jan.. You have been tipped off :)

They launched them about 3 weeks ago. Articles and pics everywhere, apart from a small style change the rest of the changes are tech updates.
