Football...tomorrow...what's the story?!

Anybody been thinking of the football scores tomorrow?
Reason for asking is that I've been listening to Real Radio coming from Amsterdam with the Tartan Army etc,(makes the old heart beat faster,and dare I say it,....but dare to dream??????????)
Such a cruel game,to start to get your hopes up and then to have them(dashed/crushed)or be elated at a draw???
Oh,ye of little faith,try being optimistic.........and then be kicked in the knackers!
Oh realism,why do I get my hopes up?
Think I'll go back on the sauce while watching on Sultana after probably not winning the 1st medal tomorrow!!

National football is appalling, and does not appeal at all. If I wanted to watch this standard of footy, I would watch Watford. I prefer to watch Arsenal, and the international breaks are a pain, getting in the way of the real stuff.

Interesting point, when I was a kid internationals meant the best standard of football but over the last 10 or 15 years the standard of top European Clubs is higher.

I dont think the Italy team that won the 06 world cup could live with any of the top 4 clubs in England.

The England team might make 7th in the Premiership, the Scotland team would be Championship material.
