anyone plays this game. i know alot of football fans do play it and at the age of 26 i am still playing it it a addiction (their i admit it) i have been so many teams on the new game but i can never stick to it. i have mainly been teams who are in the BSS or BSN and now after these real play-off it making me want to play them teams apart from Pi*horror help me

clocked up 456 hours so far on FM 11

742 on FM10

356 on FM09

I spend most of my time on the custom databases I make, I usually make one for the nation of Lincolnshire and Humberside, always good fun!

I always customise my databases too. I like to put myself in as a young up and coming striker , its great to see yourself scoring for england.

I did give myself a £200m transfer budget one game playing as Norwich and won the Champions league after 3 years.

Its extremely addictive though so its lying quietly in the cupboard not to be disturbed. 2007 version which is the best imo

I play the American Football version, Front Office Football. Salary caps, trades, drafts the lot. Quality way to waste the hours you are not playing golf.

I used to play it a LOT but like others have said it takes over your life. I could start playing around 10pm when the mrs goes to bed next thing I know I look out the window and hey it's the sun!!

Champ man 98 (Ibrahima Bakayoko :)) is still the best ever version IMO but football manager certainly made better games after the split.

After my experience with Championship Manager during my second year of uni, I will not go near Football Manager. I got lent a copy back in Feb when I was recovering from my op but managed to resist the urge. Those games are life-eaters!! I spend enough time as it is tinkering with my fantasy football team, week in week out! :o

Absolute legendary series of games. What was your best ever team? I remember I was Birmingham City in 2007/2008 season and managed to sign John Oshea and Chris Samba and finished about 9th in the Prem.

I refuse to play this game as you spend about 3 hours just looking at potential signings!

Yep mrs went away for the weekend before we had kids, did the old I'll have a quick game before bed, 36 hrs later eyes burning etc!! Yeah looking for decent striker etc takes at least a couple of hours!! Bought some Swedish youth, plays for Lyon in real life now, for about £300k played in mdf/attk or in the hole, sold for £90m after top scorer for about 5 seasons with Leicester.

couldnt agree more with some of these. its so addictive! i played fm11 non stop last year and got 12 this year. thankfully i managed to put it to one side whilst doing my first semester of uni and got decent grades but i smashed it over christmas and racked up well over 100 hours on my 5 weeks off!
