I was 55 when I First hit a golf ball,and practiced every day on grass,the first time I played a full 18 holes I Shot
105,Ive just turned 60 last september and shot my best ever
score of 79 my handicap is 12,hope to do better in 2011

after stopping playing due to the unmentionable word previously noted in these pages on my return I actually felt much better coordinated than in my youth. I am definitely not a natural ball player so as advised pay a lot of attention to the short game. Being able to see much more TV golf and tips in mags also helps to see how different shots can be made and inspire you to get out again after that last frustrating round
