Fogged off!

For the 2nd time in a week we have been forced off the course by dense fog! :(

what a shame its a beautiful sunny day here, must be hard playing down there is such terrible conditions, you never seem to be able to get on the course, what with Fog, Heavy rain and frozen conditions, not to mention trolley bans..:rofl:

Surely you mean 'by the presence of dense fog'? I can't believe the fog was quite that animated otherwise!

Can you tell that I'm listening to the A50 case?

I think the Government solicitors' ploy is to bore the Supreme Court Judges to sleep with endless minutiae, in the hope that they will eventually wake up and rule in the Government's favour!

There's definitely a huge amount of fog present in that court!!

Why did I click on this, my mind must have been fogged up at that moment.:p

Travel up to the midlands, fog is not very thick here and it is still and dry.

The fog appeared to be lifting by 11.30, so we went out and tried again, starting at the 10th. By the time we got to the 11th green it come down again as thick as ever, so we just played back up the 17th and 18th holes. At least I made two up and down pars on those holes, which rather made my day. Think I have sorted my chipping technique at long last (touch wood)! :)

So you carried on in thick fog on 2 holes rather than just walk in, surely it was too dangerous to continue if it came down 'as thick as ever'!

We have a coloured disc nailed to a tree down the fairway at about 240 yards off the whites, if we can't see the disc we don't tee off and the pro will sound the hooter and close the course.
