Does your bag resemble one with the amount of woods and hybrids that you carry?

I hit a 3 iron today and a 3 hybrid and there was at least 40 yards of a distance gap....Now before anyone jumps the gun....One was my i15 20 degree hybrid and the 3 iron was a callaway razr x belonging to my dad....
I dont carry a 5 wood purely for the reason that i hit the 3 hybrid a good distance.....

Would you carry them over the equivalent long iron even if the iron was way shorter?
Im contemplating changing my 4 iron for the equivalent hybrid....But i still like my 4 iron so im not fully sure....
The fact that i rarely use the 4 iron for anything other than off the tee seems to make it slightly redundant////And its a bit of a mar-mite club off the fairway....

Don't think it matters how many headcovers you have but gapping would be an issue, I tend to find hybrids approx club longer so hybrid has replaced 3 iron.

Number of headcovers wouldn't faze me. It's more important to have confidence in every club and have good distance between them. I love my 4 iron off the deck or the tee. Hate my hybrid we just don't get on. When I finally upgrade my woods I'll be hoping for a 3 & 5 wood combo.

Long iron or hybrid - it doesn't matter.
Use whichever you hit best AND fills the gaps between other clubs.
Hybrids are generally longer than the equivalent iron due to the longer graphite shaft and a launch angle more conducive to a long carry. A 20 degree hybrid that is supposed to replace a 3 iron acts more like a 2 1/4 iron distance-wise.
It's more important to get your gaps right than to worry about what loft or number is stamped on the sole.

I count 13 clubs in your bag. If that's right and you hit a hybrid further than the equivalent iron and you also like your 4 iron, why not get a 4 hybrid and leave the 4 iron in?
