Even the ducks looked bogged off today.

only played today coz I cannot get on Thursday before we change time zones when we go up north on Monday. The good lord decided to show us some biblical wet stuff and it just never let up. It was an 18 hole stableford comp and we decided not to enter. We played nine holes and settled for a sausage cob. I shot 17 points and looked at the scoreboard.
There was one entry he was leading with 11 points and said sod it on the 9th.
For those of us that are prepared to play in weather like that, we must have a chromosome missing.

Looks like your keeping the title for another year:D

was down in Manchester yesterday. drove to the airport at 5.30am in beautiful sunshine. Got picked up and raining straight away. Flew back at 4.30..... off the aircraft at Inverness.... sunny.

We needed the rain. Course was like concrete and the greens were worked on 10 days ago and hadn't really recovered because of the dry spell.

I remember complaining about dry weather last year and getting shown lots of pictures of bunkers full of water from North of the Border, so definitely a case of 'one man's poison'.
